Read the Euro 2012 Football Unites fanzine

As part of its Euro 2012 programme of activities, FARE has produced a Football Unites fanzine in four languages, English, German, Russian and Polish.

The fanzine,’Football Heads East’ features interviews with Andriy Schevenko, the hero of Ukraine, one of the Galacticos of the tournament, Christiano Ronaldo and the Polish legend, Dariusz Dziekanowski.

There is also information on the preparations that FARE has put into the tournament, including the education and monitoring programme, the rise of the womens game and work being undertaken by FARE’s partners to tackle homophobia. There are also details on how fans can report incidents of racism and discrimination.

There are two versions of the fanzine, one in English/German and one in Polish/Russian. Both versions feature a tournament fixture list in the centre along with the details of where Streetkick took place. The fanzine is being distributed across Poland and Ukraine through mobile fan embassies and the Streetkick team.
